At Courtesy Moving & Storage, we want our customers – especially those who are moving to the Fresno area for the first time – to take advantage of the Fall weather, which, by all accounts, is absolutely excellent for doing just about everything.
Here are a few things you can do (outside, with the whole family) in Fresno this Fall:
Visit the Fresno Chaffee Zoo:
Considered to be one of the finest zoos in the Central Valley, you and yours will enjoy the Rain Forest exhibit, Stingray Bay, Sea Lion Cove and a dozen other exhibits that will capture your attention and imagination. There are even “Zoo Camp” class that are offered for children ages 13-17 during the Fall!
Explore the Underground Gardens:
The Forestiere Underground Gardens are one of Fresno’s coolest attractions. Right off Hwy 99, the Underground Gardens were dug out by hand over four decades... The space contains hand-shaped rooms, patios and courtyards – over 90 of them – and is located below ground on 4.5 acres of land. If you’re new to the area, do yourself a favor and check this one out.
Experience the Beauty of The Shizen Gardens:
When two out of our three suggestions are gardens, you best believe it’s for a good reason. The Shizen Japanese Gardens are gorgeous – and no trip or stay in Fresno is complete without exploring this unique, one-of-a-kind space. Witness water, life and stone come together gracefully in the Shinzen, or Friendship, Gardens – you’ll be happy you did.
